Zodiac (2007) is a crime thriller based on the real-life story of the Zodiac Killer, a serial killer who terrorized the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The film follows the investigation through the eyes of three main characters: Robert Graysmith, a cartoonist at the San Francisco Chronicle who becomes obsessed with the case; Paul Avery, a crime reporter at the Chronicle; and Inspector David Toschi, the lead detective on the case.
