The Hawks started in the 1949-50 season originally as the Tri-Cities Blackhawks, they then moved to Milwaukee for the 1951-52 season and became the Hawks. Then for the 1955-56 season the Hawks moved to St. Louis and were stationed there until the 1968-69 season where they moved to Atlanta which is where they have been every since. In the Hawks 75 seasons they have made the playoffs 49 times, and have won 1 Championship.
