STAFF REVIEW:

The Florida Project (2017) is a beautifully crafted film that captures the essence of childhood wonder amidst the struggles of poverty. Directed by Sean Baker, the film excels in its authentic depiction of life on the margins of society. Brooklynn Prince, as Moonee, delivers an astonishingly natural and captivating performance, while Willem Dafoe, as the caring motel manager Bobby, provides a grounding presence. The film's vibrant cinematography contrasts with its sobering themes, creating a visually striking and emotionally resonant experience. The Florida Project is a testament to the power of storytelling and the importance of seeing the world through the eyes of a child.
