STORYLINE:

Sorry to Bother You (2018) follows Cassius Green, a struggling telemarketer in Oakland, California, who discovers a magical key to professional success. Propelled into a macabre universe, Cassius’s career takes off, leading him to an eerie, alternate reality that threatens his humanity. As he climbs the corporate ladder, he must decide whether to sell his soul to the system or use his newfound power to stand up against the oppressive forces. The film is a satirical and surreal exploration of capitalism, race, and power.
