STAFF REVIEW:

Sing Street (2016) is a delightful and uplifting film that resonates with anyone who has ever fallen in love with music. Directed by John Carney, the film boasts an infectious soundtrack filled with original songs that pay homage to the 80s music scene. Ferdia Walsh-Peelo delivers a charming performance as Conor, capturing the character's vulnerability and passion. The chemistry among the cast, particularly between Conor and his older brother Brendan, played by Jack Reynor, adds depth to the narrative. The film's nostalgic setting, combined with its authentic portrayal of teenage dreams and struggles, makes Sing Street a joyous and poignant experience.
