STORYLINE:

Silver Linings Playbook (2012) follows the story of Pat Solitano, a man with bipolar disorder who, after a stint in a mental institution, moves back in with his parents and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife. Pat's life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Tiffany, a mysterious young widow with her own issues. Together, they form an unusual bond and agree to help each other with their respective problems: Pat with winning back his wife, and Tiffany with entering a dance competition. Their journey of self-discovery and healing is filled with humor, heartbreak, and hope.
