In "Pure Luck" (1991), the klutzy but lovable Eugene Proctor is recruited by a desperate detective, Raymond Campanella, to find a missing heiress known for her bad luck. Their search leads them to Mexico, where Eugene's own bad luck causes a series of comedic mishaps.
