➱ STORYLINE:

Released in 2023, "Perfect Days" shows that Hirayama seems happy enough to live a simple life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. His days are routine and structured, which allows him to enjoy reading books and playing music, which are two of his great passions. He also likes to take pictures of trees, which means his passions extend to photography. Over the course of the film, more is uncovered about Hirayama's past and there are also a series of unexpected engagements.

➱ STAFF REVIEW:

"Perfect Days" is a relaxing, somewhat feel-good movie that reveals much about life as Hirayama's life is uncovered. It's hard not to notice how meticulous Hirayama is about his job cleaning toilets and keeping them sparkling clean. This is how he lives his life. This film is one of the most unique and different movies because it's wholesome, shows how one can be happy living a simpler life and it's even therapeutic and cathartic to watch.
