“NECTARBALL: The Story of Cannabis"

Enlightening Documentary Crafted by Filmmaking Valentines

SAN DIEGO, CA – February 6, 2024 – Proprietors of San Diego’s longest-serving video production company, Crystal Pyramid Productions, Mark Schulze and Patricia Mooney are celebrating their 42nd anniversary this Valentines Day. In a true-life love story, the couple met on Valentines Day 1982 on the balcony of La Paloma Theater in Encinitas at a play called “Pandora: If Transformation is Supposed to be So Much Fun, why am I Gritting My Teeth?” Mooney was appearing in the one-time performance to benefit the World Hunger Project, and Schulze was there to videotape it.

The couple hooked up and have been together ever since.

With a legacy of award-winning videos they produced together in the 1980s, Schulze and Mooney infused their pioneering spirit into their latest and greatest, "NECTARBALL: The Story of Cannabis," an 82-minute feature documentary.

Schulze and Mooney traveled the world for seven years interviewing cannabis luminaries including Tommy Chong, Dr. Raphael Mechoulam, Cannabis Nurses, Cannabis Farmers and dozens more from all walks of life about the history, impact and applications of the cannabis plant.

"NECTARBALL: The Story of Cannabis" has garnered attention for its meticulous research, compelling interviews with experts, and visually stunning 4K cinematography.

Warren Bobrow at Skunk Magazine calls it “Brilliant.”

Former NBA Star John Salley says, “I love how great this movie is.”

The Green Nurse says, “I was truly moved. The movie is absolutely amazing.”

"NECTARBALL: The Story of Cannabis" is now available for a limited time for the price of $4.20 at Vimeo on Demand: vimeo.com
