Teresa Weatherspoon: (player)

Bobby Jones: (player)

- NBA champion with the Philadelphia 76ers

- NBA champion as head coach of the Golden State Warriors

- Played 11 seasons with the Philadelphia/San Francisco Warriors

- Spent 50 years apart of the Warriors franchise

- Had 557 career wins


Carl Braun: (player)

- Five-time NBA All-Star

- Two-time All-BAA/NBA

- One-time NBA Champion

- Led the Knicks in scoring seven straight seasons


Chuck Cooper: (player)

- First African American player drafted by an NBA team

- Played six seasons in the NBA

- Known for his pioneering role in integrating professional basketball

- One-time Consensus All-American


Bill Fitch: (coach)

- Two-time NBA Coach of the Year

- NBA champion as head coach of the Boston Celtics

- Won 944 games as a Head Coach


Tennessee A&I (now Tennessee State University) Teams of 1957-1959: (team)

- Won three consecutive NAIA national championships

- Coached by Hall of Famer John McLendon.

- Became the first college team to win three consecutive national titles in any collegiate basketball division


Wayland Baptist Flying Queens of 1948-1982: (team)

- Won 10 AAU national championships

- Recorded a 131-game winning streak from 1953 to 1958, the longest in women's basketball history.
