"Lisa Frankenstein" (2024) weaves a coming-of-age story set in 1989, where a teenager, Lisa, finds love with a reanimated corpse while trying to fit into her new school. Despite the trailers suggesting otherwise, this film took me by surprise, delivering more laughter than scare and proving to be an unexpected gem.
