"Late Night" follows the story of Katherine Newbury, a pioneering late-night talk show host whose show faces cancellation. In an attempt to revitalize her show and career, she hires Molly Patel, a chemical plant efficiency expert with no experience in television, as the only female writer on her all-male writing team.
