John Ritter was an American actor and comedian, beloved for his role as Jack Tripper in the ABC sitcom "Three's Company" (1977-1984). Ritter's performance, characterized by his impeccable comedic timing and physical comedy, earned him a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe. Beyond "Three's Company,"
