➱ STORYLINE:
"IF" (2004) is an animated, liv-action hybrid film about Bea, a young girl that discovers she can see other people's imaginary friends that they can't see. The title "IF" is actually short for imaginary friends, which is apropos.
➱ STAFF REVIEW:
"IF" dives right into the world of imaginary friends and what happens to those that have been forgotten. The main character, Bea, played by Cailey Fleming, learns that she can see the imaginary friends of other people. Likewise, her neighbor, Cal (Ryan Reynolds) can also see them. Overall, it's interesting, fun, creative, and will spark your imagination right from the beginning.

I must admit that this is one of the best part real-life and part animation movies I have seen since Who Framed Roger Rabbit. This review is on the nose accurate. It's as good as if not better than movies like Disney's Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
Best animated film of the year by a mile. Do not skip this one.
