Gregory Peck was an American actor renowned for his commanding screen presence, depth of character, and embodiment of integrity and moral strength in his roles. Peck's portrayal of Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird" (1962) is perhaps his most iconic role, earning him an Academy Award for Best Actor. The character, a symbol of righteousness and justice, mirrored Peck's personal values and humanitarian efforts.
