George Harrison was an English musician, songwriter, and music and film producer, best known as the lead guitarist of The Beatles. Often referred to as "the quiet Beatle," Harrison's influence on the band was profound, contributing to the depth and diversity of their music. His interest in Indian culture and music led The Beatles to integrate non-Western instruments into some of their songs, which was revolutionary at the time.


George Harrison passed away on November 29, 2001 at 58 years old leaving behind an amazing music career.


After The Beatles disbanded in 1970, Harrison had a successful solo career, releasing several acclaimed albums. His first solo work, "All Things Must Pass" (1970), included the hit single "My Sweet Lord" and is widely regarded as his masterpiece. Harrison was also a pioneering figure in charity work, organizing the Concert for Bangladesh in 1971, one of the first major charity rock concerts.


In addition to his musical career, Harrison was an accomplished film producer, founding HandMade Films in 1978, which produced several popular movies, including "Monty Python's Life of Brian" (1979) and "Time Bandits" (1981).


Harrison's spirituality played a significant role in his life and music, with many of his songs reflecting his deep interest in philosophy and religion.
