➱ STORYLINE:

Enchanted (2007) is a delightful blend of live-action and animation that tells the story of Giselle, a cheerful and romantic young woman from the animated fairy tale land of Andalasia. Just as she is about to marry Prince Edward, she is banished by the evil Queen Narissa to the real world of New York City. Struggling to adapt to her new surroundings, Giselle meets and is helped by a divorce lawyer named Robert and his young daughter, Morgan. As Giselle experiences the complexities of the real world, she discovers the true meaning of love, while her fairy tale friends search for her.

Enchanted (2007), directed by Kevin Lima, is a charming and whimsical film that cleverly subverts and celebrates classic Disney fairy tales. Amy Adams shines as Giselle, delivering a performance that is both endearing and humorous. Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Susan Sarandon provide excellent support, each adding depth and fun to their roles. The film’s seamless integration of animation and live-action, coupled with catchy musical numbers by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, creates an enchanting experience. Enchanted is a heartwarming and entertaining film for all ages, full of magic, humor, and romance.
