Texas is rich in Mexican culture to say the least...story continues
With a hispanic population of 11,441,717 (2020) in the Lone Star State the saying "everything is bigger in Texas" is spot on. The Day of the Dead is by no means left out of this States slogan of choice. We begin to celebrate this holiday sometimes as early as mid-October and the celebrations themselves, well, they are on a whole nother level.
Here is a break down of some of the biggest events that we have fallen in love with!
Oct 27th: Spirit Landia in San Antonio River Parade (Filmed for Peacock TV in 2022)
Oct 29th: Mexic-Arte Museum’s 39th Annual Viva La Vida Festival and Parade is Austin’s largest and longest-running Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event.
Oct. 29th: Corpus Christi's Día de los Muertos Festival
