Released in 2021, "Coming 2 America" is the long-awaited sequel to the 1988 comedy classic, bringing back Eddie Murphy as the newly crowned King Akeem of Zamunda. The film follows Akeem and his confidante Semmi as they embark on a hilarious adventure back to America when Akeem learns he has a son he never knew about in New York. Akeem sees this as an opportunity to honor his father's dying wish to groom this unexpected heir as the new crown prince, setting the stage for cultural clashes and comedic mishaps.
