Blue Jasmine (2013) follows the life of Jasmine French, a formerly wealthy socialite who moves to San Francisco to live with her sister Ginger after her life falls apart. Jasmine's husband, a wealthy businessman, was arrested for fraudulent activities, leaving her penniless and in emotional turmoil. Struggling to rebuild her life, Jasmine battles with her past delusions of grandeur while trying to adjust to her new reality. The film explores themes of wealth, class, and mental illness as Jasmine's fragile psyche unravels in the face of her new circumstances.
