➱ STORYLINE:

In "Anatomy of a Fall", released in 2023, a woman is suspect in her husband's murder. What's more is that they have a son who is visually impaired, but who witnessed the murder, which brings its own challenges to the storyline. The husband, Samuel, is found dead, lying in the snow outside of their secluded chalet with his wife and son. While they are determining if he was murdered or if he took his own life, the relationship between the son, Daniel, and the mother, Sandra becomes tense.

➱ STAFF REVIEW:

"Anatomy of a Fall" begins at the French chalet near Grenoble as they show Daniel, a visually challenged boy taking his dog out for a walk. As he is nearing their chalet, he finds his father, Samuel, lying outside the home, dead. It's suspected that he fell from above. The police investigate and charge the wife and boy's mother, Sandra, with murder. This European film is very different from a Hollywood film as much of the content would not be allowed in Hollywood. The movie features twists and turns that keep you riveted and at the edge of your seat as it evolves into a courtroom drama.
